It has an advanced 5.0 mega pixel CMOS image sensor that gives you extreme clarity to take
high quality images up to 12 mega pixel through software interpolation.

The slim and light G-Shot 501 is a perfect choice and easy to use for any family
generation to record all happy occurrences.

It features six kinds of shooting modes;
Auto, Sports, Night, Portrait, Landscape, and Backlight, and use the 8x Digital zoom to help
you capture and adjust the subject in still images under different conditions.

This camera also includes a digital video camera mode; it can record 640 x 480 and 320 x 240 video resolution with voice when you playback on a PC.
